I sat down with an old friend recently to talk all-things brain health. Dr. Hildebrand is a psychologist offering counseling, coaching, consulting, and speaking for people of all-ages through his practice Lakeshore Psychology Services based in Wisconsin.
In our conversation, we talk about what led me to functional medicine from my foundation in Chiropractic medicine before we jump in to talking about cognitive health. I talk about my passion for navigating the grey area of pre-diagnosis of brain disease and how to look for those warning signs that it might be time to take a closer look at our cognitive function. You’ll also get an introduction to the connection between nutrition and our body’s ability to regulate blood sugar and our longterm brain health.
As a psychologist, Dr. Hildebrand specializes in counseling for individuals seeking support for addiction, depression, anxiety, grief, chronic health conditions, trauma and much more. He also supports couples and adolescents facing a wide variety of issues. Additionally, Dr. Hildebrand offers coaching and consulting for professionals and organizations.
It’s always a treat to reconnect with my old classmate and was great to be back on his podcast. I enjoyed this conversation and think you will, too!
